Arbitral Tribunal Secretary Preparation

Develop Your Skills as an Arbitral Tribunal Secretary

Overview

The arbitral tribunal secretary is the person who provides administrative and technical support to the arbitral tribunal, from coordinating between the parties to the case and between them and the arbitral tribunal to organizing meetings, writing up minutes, and doing other administrative work to facilitate the tribunal’s task of deciding the dispute.

The role of the arbitral tribunal secretary has long been considered an important point of entry to the world of commercial arbitration because it provides the secretary with the opportunity to engage with commercial arbitrators and get an up-close look at how cases are managed, evidence is collected, hearings are held, and awards are issued.

This program helps participants acquire knowledge and skills regarding the arbitral tribunal secretary’s role and duties, using representative examples of arbitration disputes. After passing this program, participants will be eligible to join the Saudi Center for Commercial Arbitration Secretary Roster if they meet the other membership requirements.
