SCCA Academy, the training arm of the Saudi Center for Commercial Arbitration (SCCA), concluded the organization of the training program "Mediation and Dispute Management in Digital Government Projects", which witnessed the holding of three courses in the cities of Riyadh and Jeddah, in cooperation with the Digital Government Leadership Development Program (Quodrat-tech), launched by the Digital Government Authority (DGA) in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
62 trainees, who hold high-level positions in the legal departments of 31 government agencies, participated in the training program, where they learned about negotiation skills and methods of amicable settlement of disputes in government projects, according to the best international standards and practices in the field of mediation, and in a way that contributes to improving the work environment in government digital projects.
This program comes within the framework of the governmental partnerships concluded by SCCA Academy with the government sector in the Kingdom, with the aim of advancing the reality of the professional practice of Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) in KSA, and building national cadres that are professional in arbitration, mediation and other alternatives, through organizing many specialized training programs that provide participants with the knowledge and skills necessary to practice alternatives, at the hands of an elite group of industry experts and practitioners.
